Slavětice

Slavětice ( German Slawietitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 16 km northwest Novon Moravian Krumlov and belongs to Okres Třebíč.

Geography

Slavětice located on the stream Olešná in the southern part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. In Slavětice is the current supplied by the Olešná pond Skalník. North of the village of the valley of the Jihlava with the dams Dalesice and Mohelenská runs. East of Slavětice is a large substation, in which the energy generated in nuclear power plant Dukovany is distributed. From this substation, a 380 kV line leads to Duernrohr in Austria. Near the town there is a 136 meter high guyed steel lattice mast to monitor air radioactivity. To the east lies above the Jihlava the ruins Rabštejn and in the southeast the Dukovany nuclear power plant.

Neighboring towns are Kramolín in the north, Mohelenská in the northeast, Skryský Mlýn and Dukovany in the east, in the southeast Kordula, Rouchovany in the south, Nové Dvory the southeast, Hrotovice the east and Dalesice in the Northeast.

History

The first mention of the Benedictine Třebíč associated village Slawittice took place in 1353rd A part of the village belonged to the lands of the monastery Dalesice this share acquired in 1375 Jan von Holoubek. The village's name derives from the family of the alleged ago Slavata. Other owners of the secular component were the mint master Martin of Jamnitz, the Counts of Hardegg and Smil of Doubravice and Osové. The Lords of Arklebice acquired in 1454 and the monastic Třebíč share, leaving in 1503 to build a fortress, which became extinct in the Thirty Years' War. 1590 acquired the Knights of Jankovský Vlašim the rule. Heinrich Graf Daun graduated Slawietitz 1736 to the rule Dalleschitz. 1775 was the village of 38 houses. 1850 was Slavětice to a municipality in the district Cesky Krumlov / Krumlov. 1881 acquired the brewery entrepreneur Anton Dreher junior goods in Slawietitz. He was expropriated in 1921. Since 1950, the community is part of the Okres Třebíč.
