SÅ‚awomir Peszko

Sławomir Peszko Konrad (born 19 February 1985 in Jedlicze, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Club career

Peszko began his career in the youth team of Nafta Jedlicze. In 2001, he joined the youth team of Orlen Plock (from 2002 Wisła Płock ) and appeared as a substitute on 28 August 2002 at the Polish Cup against Jagiellonka Nieszawa for the first time in professional team. For the second round, he was installed in the first team squad and came on 5 April 2003 at Widzew Łódź his first appearance in the Ekstraklasa. In the first half of the season 2003/ 04 he was a regular player and scored on 29 October 2003 again against Widzew Łódź his first Profitor. With Wisła, he won the 2006 Polish Cup and Polish Supercup. Internationally, he came for Wisła in the UEFA Cup qualification in the season 2005/ 06 are used. He had his first match against Grasshoppers Zurich, as he came off the bench in the 0-1 defeat in Zurich in the 66th minute for Adrian Mierzejewski on August 11, 2005. 2007 Peszko dismounted with Wisła and scored in the 2007/ 08 season in the Second League in 26 games 16 goals.

June 30, 2008, his contract ended with Wisła Płock and he moved back into the highest Polish league to Lech Poznań. He got the jersey number 17, and sat down by instantly recognizable as a regular player at right midfield. On 19 May 2009 he won the Polish Cup with Lech, after scoring the decisive goal to make it 1-0 in the final against Ruch Chorzów. A year later he was with Lech Poznań Polish champion; he had given 14 Assists in 28 games and scored eight goals. Only his teammate Robert Lewandowski had to show more points scorer.

For the second half of the season 2010/11 Peszko moved to the Bundesliga 1 FC Cologne. He signed a contract until the end of the season, which included an option for extension, was also used. After the descent in the summer of 2012, he was loaned out in early August to the English second division club Wolverhampton Wanderers, which secured a purchase option. Thus he succeeded his former coach Ståle Solbakken.

After the descent of Wolverhampton Wanderers Peszko went in the summer of 2013 back to the 1st FC Cologne. There was a transfer to FC Parma reported in the Serie A, where he should accrue in the 2013/14 season for the first FC Cologne on loan. However, the transfer did not materialize. On August 20, 2013, agreed ultimately all parties. He scored his first goal in his comeback against Erzgebirge Aue on September 1, 2013 in the 4-1 Final with a header.

National

Peszko played three matches for the Polish U- 21 team.

His debut in the Polish national team gave the midfielder on 19 November 2008 in a friendly against Ireland. Peszko came on in the 70th minute for Rafał Boguski. The game ended 3-2 for the Poles. His first goal for Poland he achieved on 17 January 2010 the 1-3 defeat against Denmark.

Others

The night of 7 to 8 April 2012 shortly after the first FC Cologne had played 1-1 against Werder Bremen in a relegation battle ( Bundesliga 2011/12/29.Spieltag ) Peszko spent in a drunk tank in Cologne lime, after he had drunk rampage in a taxi and later at the police station Stolkgasse. This drew a fine ( about 25,000 euros ) and the suspension for the away game in Mainz two days later by itself.
