Someday (I Will Understand)

Someday (I Will Understand ) is a pop song by the American singer Britney Spears. The piece was able to place in the charts in many European countries.

Formation

Spears said she had the piece on the piano at home, two weeks before she learned of her first pregnancy, composed. She explained that the song was " almost been like a prophecy " and " the pregnancy would have given her strength."

Someday (I Will Understand ) was produced by Guy Sigsworth, who had worked with Spears in 2003 to Every Time.

Publication

The single Someday was released worldwide by the record company Jive Records and ZOMBA on 21 August 2005. She appeared simultaneously in several versions. The songs Over to You Now, Mona Lisa and Chaotic found as B- sides on a maxi-single. Another version includes two remixes alongside even the instrumental. The Leama and Moor remix is with a playing time of more than nine minutes, the longest version of this title.

On August 22, 2005 one day after the regular publication, appeared a 5 " single. Besides the normal album version includes still the Hi- Bias Signature Radio Remix. This remix is also found on the on 25 November 2005 published compilation of B in the Mix: The Remixes again.

Charts and success

In Switzerland, the song rose on 4 September 2005 to number 8 in the singles chart. In Sweden Someday finished tenth and 15th place in Denmark in Belgium, Finland and the Netherlands, the song reached a top 20 placement. In Germany the song reached rank 22 and stayed there for nine weeks.

Music Video

The music video for the song was filmed in black and white and celebrated on 14 June 2005 its premiere. The directing the video shoot was conducted by Michael Haussman.

In the music video Spears is beginning with closed eyes on a bed and lolls there. Then she opens her eyes and begins to sing. In addition, one sees Spears among others in front of a mirror standing. In the video, she wears a white dress.
