Sonoma Valley AVA

Sonoma Valley AVA ( American Viticultural Area ', recognized since 4 December 1981) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of California. The area lies in the southern part of the administrative area of ​​Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley ( also known as The Valley of the Moon ) in the immediate vicinity of the city of Santa Rosa and the bay of San Pablo. Flanked the approximately 25 km long area east of the Mayacamas Mountains and west of the Sonoma Mountains.

Climate
