Soraya Arnelas
Soraya Arnelas (* September 13, 1982 in Valencia de Alcántara, Cáceres Province) is a Spanish pop singer. She has become known for the talent show Operación Triunfo (2004-2005). Their songs are mainly attributable to the dance pop.

Life and career
Up to the age of twelve, she lived with her parents in Valencia de Alcántara in the western Spanish province of Cáceres, then they moved to Madrid. With the coming of age, she began to study acting, but what they are broke again to a flight attendant. This profession she practiced until their participation in Operación Triunfo also.
2004-2005
2004 to 2005 she participated in the talent show Operación Triunfo TV. You made it to the final round, but it was only second. Nevertheless, she took the record label Santander Records.
2005 Spain Arnelas was first single, Mi mundo sin ti published. In December of the same year followed by the first album Corazón de fuego. The single made it to number 5 in the singles, in the airplay charts reaching number 1 The album, which was produced entirely by Kike Santander, reached number 13 in the album charts and went platinum.
2006-2007
After the release of the title song Corazón de fuego as a single Soraya Arnelas announced on their recording contract with Santander Records and signed with Vale Music, a sublabel of Universal. Then, the first single Self Control was released ( a cover version of 80's songs of Laura Branigan ) for their second album Ochenta 's. The single became her biggest hit to date, after a short time it was ranked one of the Spanish single charts. A little later also reached gold status Self Control, the new album, which is next to the first single also contained other English-language cover versions, like its predecessor platinum, lasted for nearly an entire year without interruption in the chart standings and reached # 5
The second single taken from Ochenta 's, Call Me ( a cover of '80s hits from Spagna) was less successful, and placed just outside the top 10
2007-2008
The first single from the eponymous, third album Dolce vita (the song was a cover of '80s hits the singer Ryan Paris) was published in 2007 and again had similar success like the previous singles and was even awarded a gold record, as well as some later the album. During this time, the sales went back a bit, the album has sold "only" about 40,000 times in Spain, while the predecessor were even able to demonstrate to the 80,000 copies sold.
The second single from the album Dolce vita beginning was chosen in 2008 Words. However, only position 14 was achieved in the airplay charts, the single was even still in the top 5
2008-2009
In the spring of 2008 it was announced that Soraya Arnelas has taken with the Belgian singer Kate Ryan for their new Dance-/Elektropop-Album Free, which was released in May of the same year, a duet ( Tonight We Ride / No digas que no). In return, a song with Ryan ( Caminare ) is on Arnelas fourth album Sin miedo also available. This promotion has already borne fruit by the success by Ryan Ella elle l'a single in the summer of 2008; the phonogram was nine weeks at # 1 in the Spanish single charts, reaching eight times platinum status. On the other hand, the international recognition of Kate Ryan's help for the success of Arnelas new album in several European countries, particularly in Belgium.
In October 2008, a new single was released, shortly before the eponymous album Sin miedo.
In May 2009, she represented Spain in the final of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 with the song La noche es para mí. In the victory of the Norwegian Alexander Rybak she finished in 25 finalists scoring starter box next to last.
