Geography

Geographical location

Spardorf is about five kilometers northeast of Erlangen in the Valley of Schwabach and below the level of Marloffstein. Spardorf is a popular residential community in Erlanger surrounding areas.

The coat of arms description reads: Split of silver and red, at the gap covered by a split of black and silver tiles, a black front steer handle, rear a silver deer bar with attached silver lily.

Established businesses

The largest operation was the former brickworks mayor, which was acquired by the Austrian Wienerberger Group and closed on June 1, 2005. In addition, long existed the Spenglereibetrieb Jackson air technology.

Spardorf is directly connected via the bus 208 of the transport system in Greater Nürnberg ( VGN ) to Erlangen at the bus station in Schwabach also served by line 209 Formerly was Spardorf at the secondary path Erlangen- Graefenberg.

The Academy of Management Academy Faber -Castell has its headquarters in Spardorf. Offered is a full-time study fine arts.
