Susi Erdmann
Susi -Lisa Erdmann ( born January 29, 1968 in Blankenburg ( Harz) ) is a German former luger and Bobpilotin.
Susi Erdmann began as a nine- year-old in 1977 with the sledges and moved in 1981 to the Children's and Youth Sports School, now the Sports High School in Oberhof, which she completed in 1987 with the Abitur. In 1988, she was sporting a soldier in the NVA and began a long study of library science at the University of Leipzig. After her release from the NVA in 1990, with the rank of master sergeant, she worked until 1992 as a civilian employee in the German army, the Bundeswehr as yet ceased no female soldiers. This changed in 1992, she was admitted to the medical soldier and sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr in Berchtesgaden. In 1997 she was accepted as a first sports career soldier in the German army. On 5 November 2007, she announced her retirement from active competition. It is used as career counseling sergeant with the rank of Warrant Officer Career Center at the Federal Armed Forces in Munich.
The luger
Sensational she won in 1989 at its first FIFA World Cup in Winterberg ( for the GDR starting ) the world title in sledding. Overall, it was three times the individual World Champion (1989, 1991 and 1997 ), four -time European champion (1990, 1992, 1996 and 1998) and two -time overall World Cup champion (1991, 1992). With the team, she won the world title four times (1990, 1992, 1993 and 1995). At the Olympics, she won the bronze medal in Albertville in 1992 and 1994 in Lillehammer the silver medal.
The Bobpilotin
When, after her third world title failed to the individual successes, she moved in 2000 into the two-man bob. In 2001 she won the national title right away and was both at the World Cup as well as the overall World Cup third parties. In 2002 she won in Salt Lake City, the Olympic bronze medal and the World Cup, in 2003 she became world champion. With the title defense in 2004, she won her fifth world title overall.
Fun-Sport
On March 11, 2006, she was awarded the Fisherman's Friend Team Wok World Champion in four-man wok. In 2008, she was able to repeat this success with the Frosta team.

Susi Erdmann 2004 had photos of himself for Playboy ( Playboy magazine February 2004) customize the Gage gave them to her team. Since 2009 she is married to Gerhard Steiner Plank.
