Talgat Zhailauov

Talgat Bakytbekowitsch Schailauow (Russian Талгат Бакытбекович Жайлауов; born 7 July 1985 in Ust- Kamenogorsk ) is a Kazakh hockey player who currently plays for Barys Astana in the Kontinental Hockey League.

Career

Talgat Schailauow began his career in 2002 in the third Russian league in the second team of Kaszink - Torpedo Ust- Kamenogorsk and has since played alternately in the first and second team. 2007 changed the striker to Kazakh club Barys Astana, for which he has already passed more than 200 games in the KHL.

Internationally

For Kazakhstan Schailauow took at junior level at the Division I of the U18 World Junior Championships in 2001 and 2002, the top division of the U18 World Youth Championship in 2003, and the Division I of the U20 World Junior Championships in 2002, 2004 and 2005 in part.

In the senior level Schailauow debuted at the 2006 World Cup, but could not prevent the descent of his team from the top division. After the re-emergence in the following year did not succeed, it took until 2010 was reinstated at a World Cup to Schailauow. The Kazakhs - the previous year returned to the top division - but were once again the class does not hold.
