Tamano (Japanese玉 野 市, -shi) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Okayama.

Geography

Tamano is located south of Okayama on the Inland Sea.

History

The city was founded on August 3, 1940.

In Tamano the Kojima Lake is (児 岛 湖, Kojima -ko ) and the castle Tsuneyama (常 山城, Tsuneyama - jo ).
