Template:Video game reviews

This template is used to create a table with ratings of various journals and magazines. It is intended to be used in the reception part of a game item. This template is not intended to replace it or to shorten, it is merely intended to give an overview of the reception of the game through newspapers and magazines.

Guidelines

A few things to consider when using the template:

Give No vote without proof of

Concentrate on reputable sites

Especially for newer titles, there are dozens of votes. The focus should always be on reliable, durable sources. In the template parameters for numerous reputable sources are predefined. Examples are IGN Entertainment, GameSpot, Famitsu, GameSpy or Euro gamers.

Give a Metawertung Metawertungen to provide an overview of how the game were recorded at testers. Therefore, always at least one Metawertung should be specified. You'll probably choose the pages Metacritic and GameRankings.

Various reviews should be avoided, exaggerated specify often the same or very similar rating numbers. Particularly positive or particularly negative ratings are interesting. This is where the comparison with a Metawertung

Involve yourself in the text on the pages used in the rating levels

The figures should not be in empty space. Possible to each registered assessment should also be made in the text reference.

In the template, the example platform PlayStation 4 ( PS4 ) is used. This is just one of many possible and therefore no mandatory parameters.

In the template pages contained

Usually, the normal spelling of the publication work. Exceptions are: any special characters, no spaces and contain more than two words in the name, only the first letter will be taken.

In Publiaktionen that appear in different countries, in foreign publications, the country code added (eg: U.S., UK, AU)
