Style

Teräsbetoni plays typical True Metal in the vein of Manowar, also sees itself heavily inspired by Manowar. Other important influences are Iron Maiden and hard rock bands like Whitesnake. Members are particularly important to use simple song structures and parts, this is to make the music more powerful. The band sees itself " to the roots of Heavy Metal return. " ( Arto Järvinen )

All texts are in Finnish and act typical for the genre of fighting and masculinity. Here, the band refers to his own words, " the struggles that you have to beat every day. Such struggles, where you climb out of bed early in the morning and know that you 'll have a hard day. " With their music, it was also important, according to Arto Järvinen " the people [ ... ] in their decisions and actions [ to encourage ]. " Just as with the Metal Manowar is itself a typical theme in the lyrics of Teräsbetoni, especially a sense of community in the scene is sung. The guitarist summarizes this attitude in an interview together:

" Metal ' is not just a word, but also a lifestyle and an ideology. "

The sometimes extreme texts are understood by many critics and fans as a parody. In an interview, the singer clearly: "In the lyrics department and our stage show there 's a dose of fun and self- parody. " ( Jarkko Ahola in March 2008, German: " For the texts and our stage show one serving is fun and self-irony. contain " ) Arto Järvinen warns :" Take it seriously - but not TOO seriously " ()
