Prodigy Present The Dirtchamber Sessions Volume One is a solo mix album by Liam Howlett, frontman of the English big beat band The Prodigy. It was released on 22 February 1999 and was produced for the show The Breezeblock on BBC Radio 1.

Background

On the album about 50 tracks by various artists were mixed and cut together. The title refers to the recording studio by Howlett. The occasion was a guest appearance on the show "The Breeze Block" with Mary Anne Hobbs on the radio station "Radio 1" in 1998 at the Howlett played a similar mix. This version, however, was used only as a promo CD and assumed by the small edition of 25 pieces, today represents a rarity in

In order to promote the sale appeared an extended version of the mix being sent. The two mixes are not identical, since the licenses for some pieces used were not available.
