The stuff of heroes are is an American feature film from the year 1983. It is based on the novel The heroes of the nation ( The Right Stuff ) by Tom Wolfe.
Action
The film tells the story of the American aerospace industry from the beginning of supersonic flight until the end of the Mercury program, which should constitute the beginning of the American conquest of space. The film gives an impression of the pioneering spirit of the time, the lives of the pilots and astronauts and their families, and of the risks taken and the efforts that have been made to achieve the targets.
