Career

Todd Ford began his career as a hockey player in Canadian junior Western Hockey League in which he was active for the Swift Current Broncos, Prince George Cougars and Vancouver Giants from 2000 to 2004. After spending the 2008/09 season with the Victoria Salmon Kings in the ECHL, he played from 2009 to 2011 for their league rival South Carolina Stingrays. During his time with the Stingrays he came in parallel for the AHL Teams Texas Stars, Portland Pirates and Hershey Bears used and was in season 2009/10 awarded the ECHL Goaltender of the Year and appointed to the All-Star team of the ECHL.

For the season 2011/ 12 Ford was committed by the Heilbronner Falken of the 2nd Hockey League. In January 2012 he returned for personal reasons back to Canada and released his contract on.
