Prince George Cougars
The Prince George Cougars are a Canadian ice hockey team from Prince George, British Columbia. The team plays since 1994 in one of the three highest Canadian Junior Hockey League, the Western Hockey League ( WHL).
History
The Victoria Cougars were before the season 1994/95 from Victoria, British Columbia, relocated and renamed the Prince George Cougars. The greatest successes of the team from British Columbia was to reach the final of the West Division in 1997 and 2000, and the Conference Finals in the 2006/07 season by the Vancouver Giants in the best- of-seven series with 1:4 documents. Last missed the team's 2007/08 playoffs, while reaching the Conference Quarterfinals in the following year.
