Dustin Byfuglien
Dustin Byfuglien ( born March 27, 1985 in Minneapolis, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since July 2011 the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League contract.
Career
Dustin Byfuglien began his career as a hockey player in the 2001/ 02 season with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League. At the start of the following season he moved to league rival Prince George Cougars, for whom he played until 2005, a total of three years. During this time, the trained defenders during the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 by the Chicago Blackhawks in the eighth round as the 245th overall player was selected.
In summer 2005, Byfuglien was first. In the 2009/10 season he won the Stanley Cup with Chicago.
For the 2010/11 season Byfuglien moved to the Atlanta Thrashers, where he was reinstated as a defender.
