Mark Scheifele

Mark Scheifele (* March 15, 1993 in Kitchener, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since October 2011 at the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

In 2010 Scheifele left his home club, the Kitchener Dutchmen, and moved to the Barrie Colts in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League. There he was in his first season in the OHL with 75 points fourth- best scorer of the rookie standings and second best scorer of his team.

NHL Entry Draft 2011 Scheifele was selected seventh by the Winnipeg Jets. It was the first draft choice of the right relocated teams. After the striker completed the preparation games on the NHL season as the top scoring player of the team, he received his first contract on 3 October 2011. On October 9, he was in the 1:5 loss against the Montreal Canadiens made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League.
