Adam Pardy

Adam Pardy ( born March 29, 1984 in Bonavista, Newfoundland ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player on the position of the defender, who is since July 2013 at the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Adam Pardy started his career as a hockey player at the 2002 Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, for which he was three years running. During the NHL Entry Draft in 2004 the defender was generally selected in the sixth round as 173 players from the Calgary Flames.

In the season 2005/ 06 Pardy received a place in the Flames farm team, the Omaha Ak -Sar - Ben Knights of the American Hockey League. In the same season Pardy also played 41 games for the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. Although he was called twice in the NHL squad of Flames in December 2007, he did not play. His debut in the National Hockey League gave Pardy on 9 October 2008 at the first game of the season against the Flames Vancouver Canucks.

On 1 July 2011 he was awarded a contract as a free agent with the Dallas Stars. After he had spent the subsequent season in the Dress of the Buffalo Sabres, Pardy signed in July 2013 a one-year contract with the Winnipeg Jets.
