Tony O'Malley (musician)

Tony O'Malley ( born July 15, 1948 in Bushey, Hertfordshire ) is a British jazz, funk singer, keyboardist, composer and arranger. He was a keyboardist with arrival and had a ranked # 8 in the UK with "Friends" (written by Terry Reid ) in 1970 and the hit " I Will Survive " written and arranged by arrival and his bandmates Frank Collins. In 1976 he joined 10cc in accordance with the resignations of Kevin Godley and Lol Creme and played on the live album Live and Let Live.

O'Malley lived and worked in Georgia for four years, where he became a national television star. In 2008 he moved to Brussels. He worked with Pino Palladino, Laurence Cottle, Andy Newmark, Hamish Stuart, Alan Spenner, Jim Mullen, Adam Phillips, Jody Linscott, Ash Soan, Mel Collins, Mark Smith, Mornington Lockett, Jeremy Stacey, Ian Thomas and Neil Hubbard.

O'Malley was in May 2008, a member of the temporarily reformed 1970s jazz - funk band " Kokomo " with Mel Collins, Neil Hubbard, Mark Smith, Adam Phillips, Andy Hamilton, Bernie Holland, Glen Le Fleur, Paddy McHugh, Dyan Birch and Frank Collins, who also guest-starred with Eddy Armani, and Franke contained Pharaoh.

O'Malley sings and plays Hammond organ in the backing band of the Belgian Frank De Ruyter (tenor saxophone ), Patrick Deltenre (guitar), Frédéric Jacquelmin (drums) and the French bassist Thierry Fandant.
