Touro, A Coruña
Touro is a municipality, a Parroquia and a place in the province of A Coruña the Autonomous Community of Galicia, in northern Spain. The 3919 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) living on an area of 115.34 km2, 83.30 km from the capital of A Coruña.
History
Wall castles from the time of the Castro culture demonstrate the early settlement of the community. The settlement of the region is detected to the time of the Romans. The first mentioned by name dates from the 12th century, where the path of the pilgrims of Diego Gelmírez in Codex calisetinus is described by Touro.
