Traversetolo
Traversetolo is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 9342 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Parma, in Emilia -Romagna. The municipality is situated approximately 18 km south-southeast of Parma. The community is located west of the Enza and directly borders the province of Reggio Emilia.
History
Traversetolo is first mentioned in the March 18, 991. 1558 the fortress is destroyed by Ottavio Farnese.
Community partnerships
Traversetolo maintains a partnership with the French community Oraison in the Alpes -de -Haute -Provence, and an intra- Italian partnership with the community Majano in the Friuli- Venezia Giulia.
Traffic
Through the community Strada Statale 513, the former di Val d' Enza, which was downgraded now the provincial road from Parma to San Polo d' Enza leads.
