Tré Cool

Tré Cool ( born December 9, 1972. Frankfurt as Frank Edwin Wright III ) is an American musician and became known as the drummer of the punk band Green Day, which he joined in 1990.

Life

Tré Cool was born in Frankfurt am Main, but grew up in the Mendocino Mountains. At age four he started to play the violin, and moved with twelve years for drums. Tré became friends with Larry Livermore, producer and owner of the independent label Lookout! Records and founder of the group The lookouts on. Soon after, he was the drummer of the Lookouts. Livermore it was who gave him his nickname Tré Cool (about: "very cool" from the French très = very ) announced.

The club Gilman, in the West Berkeley, learned Tré Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt know, at that time with her band Sweet Children. Drums and other instruments
