Turkey national under-21 football team

The Turkish U-21 national football team is a men's national team of the Turkish Football Federation.

Be eligible, players who have not yet completed their 21 years of age and be a Turkish citizen. In tournaments, the age at first qualifier is relevant.

The first competitive match of the team was on 28 October 1950 in Ankara against the Egyptian U -21 team. The game ended 3-1 for the hosts. The highest result, which has reached the Turkish team was a 5-0 win over the U -21 from Austria. The highest defeat saw the young Turks against Germany. On October 25, 1983, the Germans defeated Turkey 7-0.

Turkey made ​​it so far even to qualify for the U-21 Football Championship. This they succeeded for the U -21 Football Championship 2000 in Slovakia. With zero points, two goals and eleven goals against the team as a group different from Last in the group stage.

By participating in 2000, remains to this day the last participation of a Turkish U21 men's soccer team in a U21 European Championship finals.
