History

Between 711 and 728 Tüßling was named as " Tuzzlingen " for the first time in a Salzburg goods directory. 1377 and 1379 the place to market has been charged. The market belonged to the Counts of Haslang - high chamber. The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria ( district court district Mörmoosen ) and formed a closed Hofmark whose seat was Tüßling. Although Tüßling had market rights, but could enforce them only small parts because of Hofmarksherrschaft. 1804, the district court Mörmoosen was dissolved. Incorporations

Attractions

  • Tüßling Castle: The castle was built from 1581 to 1583 on behalf of Johann Veit Graf von Törring, despite fire damage in 1712 and Baroque fixtures it has its own character in the exterior unchanged. It is now owned by the family of Pfuel.
  • The Market Church of St. George was built in 1724 and modified in the 19th and 20th centuries.
