TVN (Poland)

TVN is a Polish commercial television station in the Polish TVN Group, which in turn belongs to the ITI Group and Canal Group. The seat of the transmitter is located in Warsaw.

The TVN Group owns a wide range of programs. In the main TVN run entertainment and information programs and feature films.

Company History

TVN launched on 3 October 1997, the station 's broadcasting license was awarded in March 1997. TVNs is owner since launch, the ITI Group. The name is derived from Polish Television Nowa.

In 2001 the station during the finale of Big Brother with 10 million viewers to date, the highest number of audience in its history. 2004 have already received 86 % of Poland's TVN television receiver.
