Twann with St. Peter's Island

Twann - Tüscherz (French Douanne - Daucher ) is the name of a created on 1 January 2010 Merger municipality in the administrative district of Biel / Bienne Canton of Berne, Switzerland. It was formed from the two communities Tüscherz -Alfermée and Twann the Jura south slope above Lake Biel.

Policy

Community president is Margrit Bohnenblust (2012 ).

The voter shares of the parties at the national elections of 2011 were: SVP 25.7 %, SP 21.3 %, BDP 17.7 %, FDP 14.7 %, GPS 7.3 %, glp 7.2 %, EPP 1.5 %, CVP 1.2 %, pirates 1.1 %, EDU 0.1%.
