The university was founded in 1967. From 1998 to 2008, the British actress Diana Rigg was ( " The Avengers and melon " ), Chancellor of the University of Stirling.

Campus and Student Life

In addition to the main campus in Stirling, there are two other, the campus Highland and the Western Isles Campus. On campus in Stirling there is a cinema and theater complex, the MacRoberts Arts Centre. 13 percent of students do not come from the United Kingdom.
