ValdÃkov
Valdíkov ( German Waldikau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers north-east of Třebíč and belongs to Okres Třebíč.
Geography
Valdíkov located on the stream Mlýnský creek in Krischanauer Bergland ( Křižanovská Highlands ) in the south of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. On the eastern outskirts of the village ponds Valdíkovský rybnik and Opatský are fishpond. Southeast of the village, the dome rises Na chlumech (491 m).
Neighboring towns are Nárameč and Topol in the North, Doubrava, Budišov and Spálený Dvůr in the northeast, Kojatín in the east, Opatský Mlýn and Smrk to the southeast, and Vladislav Hostákov in the south, southwest, and Ptáčov in Trnava in the West.
History
The first written mention of Aldikovici took place in 1101 in the founding charter of the Benedictine monastery Třebíč. 1104 the settlement Dobrutoys was mentioned, which forms the northernmost possession of the monastery Třebíč. For the year 1115 there is again a mention of Dobrutoys or Dobrutowicz in the Chronica Boemorum, then went out the location on the territory of today's settlement Doubrava settlement.
At the subsequent owners of Valdíkov belonged in 1399 Anne of Valdíkov and from 1418 onwards by Zbynek Tikovice. As of 1436, the Lords of Valdíkov owner of the village were again. Since 1556 there are three large peasant farms in the village and a farm. After the secularization of the monastery Třebíč and the construction of the castle belonged to the Valdíkov Třebíč. After the Battle of White Mountain, the lords of Wallenstein acquired the goods and held them until 1948.
After the abolition of patrimonial Vladíkov formed in 1850 a district of the town in the district of Vladislav Třebíč. In 1867, the Vice My Dung after Hostákov and in 1884 the community name Valdíkov was common. In 1870 the village had 110 inhabitants and 1890 there were 141 in 1901 created the municipality Valdíkov. 1907 lived 152 people in 19 houses of Valdíkov. In 1964 the village was umgemeindet after Nárameč. Since 1992 Valdíkov again forms its own political community.
On the hill Na chlumech there is a finding place of smoky quartz and amethyst.
