Vastogirardi
Vastogirardi is an Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Isernia in Molise and has 724 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012). The municipality is situated approximately 20 km north-northeast of Isernia and directly borders the province of L' Aquila.
History
The ancient temple of Hercules was of national importance. Today's village Vastogirardi only emerged after 1100-1200.
