Monteroduni

Monteroduni is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2206 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Isernia in Molise. The community is located about 9 kilometers southwest of Isernia and directly borders the province of Caserta. The Volturno, whose ancient name Olotrunus also stands for the place names, forms the northwestern boundary of the municipality.

History

The community has already been as Samnite settlement site known in the Atike. The vandals destroyed the village of 456 AD.

Traffic

Through the community, the Strada Statale 85 Venafrana leads from Venafro coming towards Isernia.
