Vicchio

Vicchio is a municipality with 8210 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region of Tuscany. The place belongs to the administrative community Comunità Montana Mugello.

Geography

Vicchi located in the Mugello, 30 km northeast of Florence. Districts ( frazioni ) are Villore, Barbiana, Casole, Rupecanina, Gattaia, Molezzano, Caselle, Vespignano, Mattagnano, Piazzano, Ponte a Vicchio, Santa Maria a Vezzano and Cistio.

The neighboring municipalities are Borgo San Lorenzo, Dicomano, Marradi and Pontassieve
