Barberino di Mugello
Barberino di Mugello is a municipality with 10.751 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy.
Geography
The municipality covers about 134 km ². It is located about 25 km north of Florence in the Mugello. In the southern municipality springs the Sieve.
The districts include Cavallina, Galliano, LATERA and Montecarelli.
The neighboring municipalities are Calenzano, Cantagallo (PO ), Castiglione dei Pepoli (BO), Firenzuola, Scarperia e San Piero, Vaiano (PO) and Vernio (PO).
