Volga is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Brookings County in the U.S. state of South Dakota. In 2010, Volga had 1768 inhabitants.
Geography
Volga is located in eastern South Dakota, approximately one kilometer west of the Big Sioux River. The border with Minnesota is located approximately 40 km east. The geographical coordinates are 44 ° 19'25 Volga " north latitude and 96 ° 55'35 " west longitude. The city covers an area of 2.36 km ².
