Wedding album is the third album that John Lennon recorded with his wife Yoko Ono. It was released on 7 November 1969.

Genesis

The third and final part of the " Unfinished Music " series, which documents the common life of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, was released the album under the name Wedding. It is here again, as in previous albums Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins and Unfinished Music No.. 2: Life with the Lions to an avant-garde album. The Disclosure Policy of the album was the marriage of the couple March 20, 1969 in Gibraltar.

The original version of the album includes only two tracks, the first John & Yoko was recorded at Abbey Road Studios on 22 April 1969, consists exclusively of an ongoing juxtaposition of the name John and Yoko, with John Lennon and Yoko Ono do this in different tones of voice. The second side, Amsterdam, was recorded with a tape recorder at the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam during a bed- in on the honeymoon. The title of Amsterdam is divided into the songs John, Let's Hope for Peace, Goodbye Amsterdam, Goodbye, Bed Peace and The Beatles' Goodnight.

The packaging

The album is in a cardboard box, which still different souvenirs of the wedding includes: a poster, a abfotografiertes piece of the wedding cake, a copy of the wedding certificate, drawings by John Lennon, a plastic bag, a set of four passport photos, a postcard and a 20 -page book with press articles.

Publication

The album was not able to place in the British charts in the U.S., it reached # 178 The remastered CD re-release on June 3, 1997 by Rykodisc Records and includes a previously unreleased bonus piece from the " Sessions" at the Queen Charlotte Hospital in November 1968 Do not Worry Kyoko ( Mummy 's Only Looking for Her hand in the Snow) by Yoko Ono. John Lennon plays acoustic guitar on this title and Yoko Ono sings. Who Has Seen the Wind? is the B- side of the single Instant Karma! ( We All Shine On ), and lists, the Snow is Falling is the B- side of the single Happy Xmas (War Is Over); both B- sides were composed and sung by Yoko Ono.
