John Lennon Anthology is the title of a four - CD compilation album of John Lennon, which includes 94 items that had been published previously in this form not ( legally).

Genesis

Between 25 January 1988 to March 23, 1992 218 shipments were sent under the title of the lost lennon tapes in the U.S. radio. This meant that these unreleased recordings were disseminated through bootlegs, and were so accessible to a larger audience. But only six and a half years after the broadcast of the last radio broadcast this four- CD box set was released as a compilation album of unreleased tracks, outtakes, demos and live performances by John Lennon. The title was compiled by Yoko Ono. The four CDs each have separate cover (drawings by John Lennon, partially colored ) and are housed in a slipcase; additional content is a 60 - page booklet, the lyrics, notes on the individual titles and the CDs, an introduction by Yoko Ono and John Lennon's explanations of artistic activities by Anthony De Curtis contains.

As producers, only Yoko Ono and Rob Stevens mentioned, which probably applies exclusively to the production of the CD box, as more producers are given in the companion book for the music.

The four CDs each have their own tracks to characterize each stage of life of John Lennon.
