Wonsaponatime is the title of a compilation album of John Lennon, which summarizes 21 tracks from the four- CD box set John Lennon Anthology.
Genesis
EMI published simultaneously with the John Lennon Anthology a single CD, which contained, among other eleven edited (shortened ) versions, which have not been published on the four- CD box so. The cover image is a partially colored drawing by John Lennon. The CD includes a fifteen -page booklet glued in, the lyrics, notes on the individual titles and an introduction by Yoko Ono contains.
Publication
In the UK, the album reached number 76 on the charts in the U.S. and Germany could not place itself. The publication in CD format in November, 1998; the double - LP was released in January 1999. CD has been previously published not new remastered.
Single releases
There was no decoupled single from the album. In the U.S. two CD singles Promotion ( Happy Xmas ( Rough Mix '71 ) / Be-Bop -A- Lula and I'm Losing You / Only You ) have been distributed to radio stations, which are not published as a regular purchase singles.
