Who's Next is an album by British rock band The Who. It was produced by the band in collaboration with Glyn Johns and published by track record in July 1971. It was included in the Star Grove Studios by Mick Jagger in London. Originally the album was planned as a double album called Lifehouse. The remaining tracks on the album were released in part on the album Odds & Sods and on solo albums by Pete Townshend.

Who's Next is one of the most famous and popular albums by The Who. With Baba O'Riley, Behind Blue Eyes and Will not Get Fooled Again it contains three classics of the band. On Who's Next Pete Townshend was experimenting with the then-new synthesizers ( including the ARP synthesizer and the VCS -3 synthesizers). The Who were among the first bands that made use of synthesizers in rock music.

The name " Who's Next " is the German non-transferable ambiguity: once " The / The Next of ( The) Who", the other "(? ) Who's next ", which refers apparently to the cover photo: the four band members have just urinated on a concrete block.
