Wout Brama 2010

Wout Brama ( born August 21, 1986 in Almelo ) is a Dutch football player.

Career

Association

The midfielder played since July 2005 Twente in the Eredivisie. Previously, he played six years in the junior section of the club. In his first year as a pro came Brama on 29 missions and was therefore unable to play in the starting eleven of FC Twente. As a coach Fred Rutten was preferred Karim El Ahmadi on this Bramas position and this was to be increased again on the Exchange Bank. Nevertheless, he extended his contract until 2010. Having Rutten and El Ahmadi left the club in the summer of 2008 and Steve McClaren whose office took over, Brama again played a major role in the Twente system. On 9 February 2009, he again renewed for two years. After the team in 2007 and 2008 fourth runner-up was, Brama in 2009 was able to move with the team in the final of the KNVB Cup. There they drew against SC Heerenveen the shorter and lost the game on penalties.

National

Brama played since 2006, a total of ten games for the Netherlands U-21 national football team. In 2008 he came to his first deployment in the B national team of the Netherlands.

In November 2009, Bond coach Bert van Marwijk called him for the first time in the squad of the national team. He made his debut on November 18, 2009 in Heerenveen against Paraguay when he came off the bench in 71 minutes of Mark van Bommel.
