Zafer Yelen

Zafer Yelen [ zafɛr jɛlɛn ] ( born August 30, 1986 in Berlin) is a Turkish football player, who was born in Germany.

Youth

Zafer Yelen 1986 was born into a Turkish family who lived in West Berlin. He has six siblings. The school he finished with the Enlarged secondary school.

Career

In youth Yelen played for various clubs in Berlin, most recently for Tennis Borussia Berlin in the Junior League East, where he was discovered by the former Hansa Rostock coach Frank Pagelsdorf. Then took Timo Lange, the coach of the league amateurs him to FC Hansa. In the 2005/06 season, his first season in the adult area, Yelen scored in 30 games for the second team of Rostock 14 goals in the league. For the 2006/07 season he moved up to the second-division team, in which he developed into a regular player and playmaker in 26 stakes, scoring five goals and climb to the 1st Bundesliga at the end of the season with Hansa.

He also was appointed to the Turkish U -21 national team through his performances in the second division and completed on February 7, 2007, his first game for them.

In the following Bundesliga season 2007/ 08 Yelen completed 20 games for the Baltic Sea city dwellers rose with these but immediately again to the 2nd Bundesliga, whereupon Yelen first a change in Turkey sought, which, however, did not materialize due to lack of financial collateral. Below came Yelen due to an injury in the first half of the 2008/09 season only two appearances for Hansa, tried again a change in Turkey to push and, after this again did not materialize, reassigned Rostock's second team. At season's end, his contract was finally dissolved in Rostock, whereupon Yelen joined the Turkish first division side Trabzonspor.

In July 2011 Yelen was obliged by the second division FSV Frankfurt. Yelen from the start was a regular player in central midfield Bornheimer, and is also responsible for the standards of the FSV: Of the five league goals in the 2011/12 season he scored three through penalty and a directly transformed by a free-kick it came up another free kick in the DFB Cup. After starting 20 inserts his one-year contract automatically extended until the summer of 2013.
