Zolochiv, Kharkiv Oblast

Zolochiv (Ukrainian Золочів; Russian Золочев / Zolochev ) is an urban-type settlement in Ukraine and the administrative center of the homonymous Rajons in the northwest of the Kharkiv Oblast with about 10,800 inhabitants ( 2013).

Geography

Zolochiv located on the banks of the Udy, a tributary of the Donets and on the railway line to Oblastzentrum Kharkiv, which located 44 km south-east of the village.
