2011 Natomas Men's Professional Tennis Tournament

The RelyAid Natomas Racquet Club Challenger 2011 was a tennis tournament which took place in Sacramento from 1 to 9 October 2011. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2011 and was held outdoors on hard court.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. There were both in the individual event and for the doubles event a qualifying round with 16 players, or with four doubles, a pairing could qualify for the main draw through which the individual four players in doubles. The prize money of the event was as in the previous year total of $ 100,000.

Winner of the individual competition was set at position two Croat Ivo Karlović. He won the final against top-seeded local hero James Blake in three sets. It was Karlović ' fifth title at Challenger level and his first in this division of the season.

The doubles competition won the unseeded Australian Carsten Ball and Chris Guccione. You defeated in the final wildcard owner Nicholas Monroe, who had previously failed in the year with Donald Young in the final, and Jack Sock in the match tie-break. It was Balls 15 title with a doubles competition, of which 14 were located in the second-rate ATP Challenger Tour. Besides, it was his third tournament win of the season. For Guccione it was the tenth challenger title of his career and the second season, both of which he gained with ball. The victorious last year South African Rik De Voest pairing and Izak van der Merwe did not occur in this formation to defend their title. Van der Merwe lost with his partner Treat Conrad Huey this year in the first round against the eventual tournament winner.

Prior to the tournament, Fernando González had to cancel his participation in the individual competition. For him, Jamie Baker enlisted as a lucky loser in the bunch.
