2011 São Léo Open

The Ecco São Léo Open de Tênis 2011, a tennis tournament, which took place in São Leopoldo, Brazil from October 31 to November 6, 2011. It was as part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011, the first edition of the tournament and was held outdoors on sand.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. Ahead there was a qualification tournament for the single round in which 16 participants from four starting points were awarded. The prize money of the event was a total of 35,000 €.

Winner of the individual competition was set at position four Argentine Leonardo Mayer. He won the final against the unseeded Serb Nikola Ciric in two sets. It was Mayer's sixth individual title at Challenger level and his third title of the season.

The double competition won by the top seed Brazilian- Spanish pairing consisting of Franco Ferreiro and Rubén Ramírez Hidalgo. You defeated in the finals unseeded Portuguese Frederico Gil Gastão Elias and the match tie-break. It was Ferreiros 19 titles in the doubles competition of a Challenger tournament and the fourth of the season, which he won in all Brazilian tournaments. However, his partner was André Sá, with Hidalgo, it was his first title. For this, it was also the 20th career doubles title on the Challenger Tour and fifth of the season. It was their first joint title win at all.

Prior to the tournament, there was a injury-related cancellation. Iván Navarro could not participate in the doubles tournament with his partner Alex Ksnetsov because he had an injury on his left arm. As a replacement could as individual finalist Nikola Ciric and Goran Tošić participate in the main round of the doubles competition.
