Geography
Geographical Location
Appel is between the Este, a left tributary of the Elbe and the Harburg low mountain. The place is known for its hiking trails in scenic countryside at the fish pond chain to Appelbeck.
Community structure
The municipality includes the villages of Appel Appel, Eversen Eversen Heath, Horror and Oldendorf.
