Geography
Geographical Location
Garlstorf is located on the eastern edge of the nature reserve Lueneburg Heath between the valleys of Luhe and the floodplain in the conservation area Garlstorfer forest. The community belongs to the Samtgemeinde salt Hausen, which has its headquarters in the town of Salt Hausen.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1192.
