Rosengarten, Lower Saxony

Rose garden is a south to Hamburg Harburg municipality in the district in Lower Saxony ( Germany ). It is bordered on the north by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, in the districts of house breaking, home field, Hamburg- Eißendorf and Marmstorf, and in the south on the town of beech wood in the North Heath, town Dibbersen. Neighboring municipalities are New Wulmstorf in the west and in the east Seevetal.

On 1 July 1972, the municipalities Eckel, Ehestorf, Emsen, Iddesen, Klecken, Leversen, Sottorf Tötensen and Vahrendorf were incorporated.

  • The SG Handball Rosengarten played in the 2010/2011 season in the first women's handball league; currently playing in the 2nd Women's Handball Bundesliga
  • The FC Rose Garden was founded in 2012 from the clubs SC Klecken, TV Vahrendorf and Turnerschaft Westerhof.

Traffic

The place Tötensen is connected by motorway to Hamburg. The A 261 leads past Tötensen and connects the A 7 and A 1 traffic relieving each other southeast of Hamburg.
