1950 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships
The third canoe racing world championships were held in 1950 in Copenhagen ( Denmark) instead.
There medals were awarded in 15 disciplines of canoe racing: four canoes and kayak competitions nine men and two women kayaking competitions. For the first time in World Cup history of one Canadian competition and the four-man kayak competition over 10,000 meters of the men were held.
