1974 Little League World Series

The Little League World Series 1974 was the 28th staging of the Little League Baseball World Series, an international baseball tournament for boys 11 to 12 years. It was played in South Williamsport.

After the tournament, all the teams have been to Washington DC invited. They were the first guests that the President Gerald Ford freshly placed through the fourth win in a row the team from Taiwan voices were heard, which suggested that to old players were used. But it could never be fully resolved. For this reason it was decided not to allow more international teams from the following year. Massive protests teams were admitted from outside the United States from 1976 again.

1974 was also the last year in which in the first round could already meet international and American teams. From 1976, this was possible only in the finale.

New the north region was renamed Central Region.
