2012 Little League World Series
The Little League World Series 2012 was the 66th staging of the Little League Baseball World Series, an international baseball tournament for boys 11 to 12 years. It was played like every year in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Participant
The 16 teams formed a group of eight teams from the United States and a group of eight international teams. The two groups each play a double - elimination round, the winners of the groups play in the end against each other for the world title.

The drawing of the meetings and the setting of the schedule took place on June 14, 2012.

The teams have lost their first two games, the so-called crossover games against the teams in the other round.
Consolation game
The consolation game ( engl: Consolation game) is played between the losers of the U.S. Championship and the loser of the International Championship.

- With the victory against the North West region, the team from Uganda scored the first victory for Africa at the Little League World Series ever.
- The crew of the school Tokyo Kitasuna which represented Japan, has completed all the qualifications and the whole tournament unbeaten, these are 13 victories in a row.
