2009 Little League World Series
The Little League World Series 2009 was the 63rd staging of the Little League Baseball World Series, an international baseball tournament for boys between 11 and 12 years. It was played like every year in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
For the first time since 1996 was again a team from Taiwan reach the final, and for the first time since 1993 was again a team from California to win the title.

Participant
The mode is unchanged from 2008. The 16 teams playing in four groups of four teams each FFA. The top two teams then play in qualifying matches for the title.
