1995–96 English Premiership (rugby union)

The 1995/1996 season of the English Premier League was the ninth season of the top flight of English rugby union championship. For sponsorship reasons it was called Courage League. It included 18 game days, each with a forward and reverse turn. The league title won for the sixth time Bristol Rugby. The two top-ranked teams, the Northampton Saints and London Irish, were promoted to the Premiership. Due to the forthcoming enlargement of the league by two teams, there were no losers in this year.
